Frequently Asked Questions

You got questions? We got answers! We want to help you find the answers to your questions. Below is a list of questions and answers to help you decide about attending a Christian College Fair and much more.

Do I need to register for the Christian College Fairs as a student or parent?

No need to register for the fairs.

Do I need to be there as soon as the doors open for the fair?

The fairs are an 'open house' format. You can come and go anytime during the fair time.

Is there any cost to attend the fair as a student or family?

The National Christian College Fairs (US) and the Christian College and University Fairs (Canada) are free and open to the public.

What do I need to bring?

To save time and to talk to as many schools as possible, we suggest you fill out pre-made labels with your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, EMAIL, GRAD YEAR and HIGH SCHOOL on it. That way you can attach the label to any school's inquiry card you are interested in receiving more information from and have more time to talk to the representative. This is just a helpful suggestion. If you are a student, we also suggest you bring a parent or another influential decision maker in your life.

Is there a dress code?

There is not a dress code -- come wearing what you normally wear to school. Casual wear is welcome for parents, students and visitors to the fairs.

Who will be at the fairs?

Various different Christian Colleges from the US and Canada. All have been approved through NACCAP.

How many Christian College fairs are there?

We have over 100 different college fairs in various locations throughout the US and Canada during September, October and November and in the springtime for the state of Florida.

Do you offer Christian College Fairs in the Spring?

Yes, but they are only in the state of Florida. No other fair locations in the spring have been added at this time.

What is the financial aid seminar?

The seminar is a great opportunity for parents and students to learn about the financial aid process and how to make a Christian College education affordable. Each fair will offer at least one 30-minute session.

If I missed attending a fair, is there another one I can attend?

Depending on where you live, this might be the closest fair to you and the only one offered at this time. For a complete list of fairs, please visit the fair website at: www.NCCF.us or www.CUCF.ca and search by your zip code.

Which colleges are attending the fair near me?

Please visit the college fair website for a list of schools attending each fair. www.NCCF.us or www.CUCF.ca

If I have more questions who can I contact?

Please contact NACCAP Headquarters for more information by calling 888.423.2477.

What is NACCAP?

The North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals sponsors the Christian College Fairs. They are a professional development organization for those who work in the role of guidance or admissions at various high schools, college, and graduate schools around North America. Check out their website at www.naccap.org.

I am interested in a Graduate School/Seminary. Will they be at the fairs?

At this time, the Christian College Fairs are geared toward the typical high school student, looking for a college. At the fair, you will be able to pick up a NACCAP Christian College Guide (also available for order off the website) that will have a listing of Graduate/Adult Learner/Seminary options.

I am an admissions counselor, what are the fair guidelines?

Please view the Fair Guidelines Document for an answer to this question.
